Me and my BF booked this trip and rode privately with Alfonso! Alfonso spoke very little English and he had great taste in classic rock music and played it for us in the car! We easily found our sign under the billboard beyond the port. The horseback ride in the canyons is a MUST! Absolutely breathtaking scenery, the place is massive and horses were beautiful/taken care of.

AMAZING.... The pick-up location was by the glass building on the far end, and the driver was standing there holding our name(we were a few minutes late).We had to drive about 40 minutes away from the location to get to the excursion. We only purchased horseback riding, which was on a trail. The scenic views, which were breathtakingly beautiful, were amazing, and our horseback instructor was excellent.

Beach - Estuary route is 55-60 min. The Echo Canyon ride is similar time but takes about 15 min longer due to slower mounting, instruction, and stoppage time at the echo platform.

5 years old minimum to ride alone with parental consent. Kids under 5 must share a horse with an adult. Echo Canyon is especially popular with kids.

Yes, horses are tame. Echo Canyon is safest with the best equipment — we strongly recommend this route for kids. And hearing the echo is a hoot!

No, just a willingness to learn and stay calm. Echo Canyon has a short instruction period and a mounted guide. A guide will walk with the horses if you request it on the beach ride.

Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. Long sleeve shirt and comfortable pants are best, not required. Don't wear flip-flops, skirts or dresses.
