Like fishing everywhere, you won’t always catch a fish on a fishing charter. That being said, it’s pretty rare we don’t catch any fish. Could have a day that you didn’t catch exactly what you wanted or didn’t get that keeper-slot-snook to have for lunch. It’s likely you’ll catch fish; you just might not catch the exact fish you had your heart set on.

Yes—tips are always appreciated! It’s not required, but it’s a lovely way to say thanks for a great day on the water. Your guide puts a lot into each outing—time, expertise, gear, and boat care—so any tip you give truly means a lot.

Yes—there’s a clean onboard restroom and showers available for your comfort during the trip.

Absolutely, we have a fish cleaning station at our marina you set out from. Your guide would be happy to clean and fillet your fish. They can also take it directly to the Riverside Café that’s connected to our marina, they’d be happy to cook it up for a small fee.

Earlier the better, especially if you have a specific guide you’d prefer. Some parts of the year are busier than others, but we do stay busy year-round. We can make a reservation as little as 24 hours or years in advance.

Absolutely! Kids are very welcome to go on a fishing trip with us. Our guides are fantastic with kids and will teach them to fish. Charters are also a great way to catch a child’s first fish or take them fishing if you’re not as experienced, and want to make sure they have a good time.

“We were on a cruise that was due to stop in Ensenada for a day. We all wanted to go whale watching and a Google search led me to Ensenada Excursions and Tours. I booked a private whale watching trip for our family group as that was the only way to do it around the times we'd be in port and I paid the deposit online. Communication from the beginning was superb throughout, and we were so looking forward to our trip. However the weather had other ideas and a storm meant that our day in port in Ensenada was cancelled by the cruise line.
