I moved to Ensenada in 2011 to reinvent a life of health after consulting career burnout, cancer, and heartbreak. Now that I am more peaceful, cancer-free, and a proud dog daddy, I love finding outdoor adventures.
In the process of building Ensenada Massage, and helping travelers navigate Ensenada, I noticed it is quite challenging to plan a full day in Ensenada.
The transportation logistics, what is open, what is covid-safe, road safety, and cash/electronic payments can be quite frustrating for what is supposed to be a day of fun and adventure.
And when I took a Carnival Cruise in 2019, I was over the crowds and waiting, so I wanted a private tour. (Yeah, I took a cruise to my own city Ensenada!)
So, with the help of the local guides we make transportation and logistics easy, and excursions private so you have the flexibility not available in larger group tours (and no waiting).

The fun personalities of our guides are our real assets. You can find other tours, but to find a local team that is fun and makes you feel like family is a real treat when traveling.
And our team of private drivers includes Jose Luis with his cowboy boots, Willy our smiler, Miguel our amateur Boxer, Oscar or elder statesman, Tony the Baja Off Road racer, Genaro our Italian bodyguard, and Tomas our preacher, and Daniel our pretty boy.

Is from Wisconsin and has 15 years living in Baja, after a mini career in Economic consulting and UCSD Graduate School and Teaching Economics at CETYS University.
He is recovering from his type A personality as a massage therapist.
Those business training and courses at NOLS were partly helpful as the accidental founder of Ensenada Massage, Ensenada Excursions and Tours, and Valle Mobile Spa.
Jesse is an avid traveler (India, Turkey, Beliz, Guatemala, Baja Sur, Yellowstone, Croatia, Poland, China) an occasional Carnival cruiser, and also blogs on travel and healthy living in Ensenada.
Tina and Lola make surprise visits to the cruise port and spa with Jesse.
Jesse has lived in Belize, Guatemala, Mexico, Washington D.C., and San Diego.
Blues Harmonica, body boarding, scuba diving, road trips with Dogs, are the recurring adventure themes.

“We have been to Ensenada many times and always taken the shuttle to town to get a bus to La Bufadora (our favorite place). When we learned of Ensenada Excursions, we loved the idea of a private tour. It was only about 2 weeks before our trip and Arturo and Jesse were very responsive and set up a custom tour of La Bufadora and Horseback Riding.

I highly recommend this company first off we were not coming in on a cruise where they usually pick people up from and they still picked us up from our hotel at no additional charge and I will say the Driver that stayed with us all day really made this Trip 5 Stars he was awesome great conversations and he took pictures for us as well as recommended additional places to go even when the tours were over he took us to additional locations at no charge (BUT obviously we tipped him) not to mention the 2 hour massage we got for only $200 for 2 people when we come back it's a must to do again. My boyfriend and I went on a Carnival Radiance cruise a few weeks ago and wanted to do something fun in Ensenada. The shore excursions provided from the ship didn't really interest us (not to mention they were very expensive) so I took it upon myself to find something to do for the day. I came across Ensenada Excursions while looking up places to do ATV riding and saw they had great Yelp reviews. I booked an ATV tour and Zipline activity for the day. We had a great time! Our tour guide Guillermo picked us up by our cruise's dock and took us to the tour. It was so fun and made our trip one to remember! I was a bit nervous as this was our first time in Mexico together and wasn't sure what to expect (I also was afraid of getting scammed LOL). However, we had a blast! Yes. If it is our fault, we cover transportation, housing, and expenses to get you back to your home port.
Cancellation and Refund
24-hour for standard tours up to 8.
48 hour for ATV Valle de Guadalupe, larger vehicles for groups 9+.
72 hour for Yacht.
Privacy
Ensenada Massage and Ensenada Excursions and Tours does not share your email, phone with anyone.
Taxes
Taxes are already included in the quotes.
Insurance
Guests are covered by our insurance while in our vehicle, and by our partners during the activity.
Local Charity 5% & Discount Codes
All of us live here in Ensenada and love it, so income helps the local community. We take care of our team and our community.
Each quarter we choose a local charity to support.
