Me and my BF booked this trip and rode privately with Alfonso! Alfonso spoke very little English and he had great taste in classic rock music and played it for us in the car! We easily found our sign under the billboard beyond the port. The horseback ride in the canyons is a MUST! Absolutely breathtaking scenery, the place is massive and horses were beautiful/taken care of.

AMAZING.... The pick-up location was by the glass building on the far end, and the driver was standing there holding our name(we were a few minutes late).We had to drive about 40 minutes away from the location to get to the excursion. We only purchased horseback riding, which was on a trail. The scenic views, which were breathtakingly beautiful, were amazing, and our horseback instructor was excellent.

5 years old minimum to ride alone with parental consent. Kids under 5 and younger must share a horse with adults. Kids love the ‘Echo Canyon’ route where they can shout into a canyon and hear echo. There is a simple riding lesson, as well as a convenient mounting platform for easy mounting and dismounting.

Yes, at another location - Las Canadas, a ride through the hills, with an outlook point with canon echo. And is 60-75 min route with a mounted guide, and return route is different than beginning. Pricing is same currently. Guests appreciate the care of the horses, the route, and the availability of the bathrooms.

Beach - Estuary route is 55-60min (horses trot back quickly sometimes). The Echo Canyon ride is same time, however, takes about 15 min longer in the schedule due to slower mounting and some instruction from the guide and stoppage time at the echo platform.

Yes, trail horses are very trained to follow the horse in front. No riding experience is needed. Mountain Echo Canyon ride features a new rider instruction, mounted guide, and guides are more bilingual.

Yes, horses are tame. Echo Canyon is safest with best equipment, we strongly recommend this route for kids. And hearing the echo is a hoot!

You can combine easily the Echo Canyon Ride with Zipline and ATV. Beach ride is near Bufadora and Pai Pai. Zipline and Horseback Mountain riding is popular and, for couples connection, horseback and 90 min massage;) For a full day, the Horseback- ATV- Zipline at Las Canadas is a thrill and reduces transportation time.

If you’ve never ridden before, horseback riding can feel like a bit of a daunting challenge! It’s important to feel relaxed and comfortable when riding to have an enjoyable experience, for both you and your horse friend! Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended. Long sleeve shirt, and comfortable pants are best, not required. Don’t wear flip-flops, skirts or dresses.
