Is the Beach Safe? Yes, the access is controlled by private resort security and paid parking, so not highly used.

Are there bathroom access? Yes, clean and nice!

Is there shade? Yes, umbrellas are provided at no cost.

Is the water rough? No. The beach is near an estuary and has rocks to break waves from the open ocean.

Are there beach chairs? Yes!

Is the water clean? Yes, this beach is 20 min from the downtown area where there is sometimes urban runoff and in 2022 a pipe leak.

Is this a public beach? All beaches in Mexico are legally public, and this beach has restricted access. It is privately maintained, clean, and without a party scene.

Is food included? There is food and drink available at the restaurant.

How far from the cruise port? About 20 min away from downtown area, public beaches, and traffic.

Is this a surf beach? No, San Miguel for advanced and Playa Hermosa for beginners are better surf beaches.

Can we add people after the deposit? Yes, let us know the day before if you have extra friends for the tour. We can also combine a beach stop after a horseback ride, ATV, Zipline at Las Canadas, and downtown shopping.

We decided on going to the beach and getting a massage as the official items, but we did much more than this. From the get-go, the experience felt more like a private guide/tour than we were expecting. Our driver met us with a sign that had our name on it within walking distance of our ship (so it was nearly impossible to miss them). He gave us options on which beach we would like to go to (e.g. one of the main beaches if we wanted to try surfing or a more private beach if we wanted more of the relaxing scene). We opted for the latter. The beach was great and maintained by a resort. We had it almost completely to ourselves - with great views of the water, beach chairs, and shade provided. We then ate at the restaurant on the beach which was very delicious as well.

Overall very happy with the experience. Very professional, safe, and very reasonably priced (a lot cheaper than if you were to do this through the cruise ship). We gladly recommend Ensenada Excursions and Tours!

He told us all about the places we saw, was accommodating to taking pictures, and made check-in for the zipline and beach time easy. Everything about this day was smooth and stress-free. The zipline experience was fun and so well Organized and ran! I highly recommend it. I wish we had booked the ATV with the zipline!!

We loved our choice of spending the day with the guidance of Ensenada Excursions. We met near the cruise ship and took a brief drive to a private beach and enjoyed several hours with clean restrooms and a gift shop nearby. We ate an amazing seafood lunch at the nearby Estero Beach Resort and returned to the boat at a perfect time for us. Our guide was courteous and very attentive. We WILL use Ensenada Excursions again.
