We booked the whale watching tour from the States—everyone was super friendly and gave simple directions to the pier office. We boarded a huge yacht for about 60 guests with only ~30 of us, so plenty of space. The tour was ~5 hours round trip and super fun. The whales were a little shy this time, but we’d do it again for sure!

You can take a tour on the routes we suggest, or just cruise around. It is private, and we don’t have a script and microphone, so not like a touristy short harbor cruise you can get on the Malecon as mentioned in Things to Do in Ensenada here.

Yes, December thru March is the season, pricing for 4 hour tour minimum for best chance to seeing migrating whales.

Open water is choppy, so we often choose the shoreline to Coral Marina and swimming. Weather conditions change. We reocmmend an inexpensive sea sickness medication to ensure you enjoy the boat tour. We send the info after deposit how to buy at local pharmacy.

Yes, the pictures here are of the fun boat that can do light fishing for a few in the group. We also have a dedicated fishing boat too for serious fishing!

In the nextdoor marina (not Cruiseport) you can catch a harbor tour on older fishing and passenger boats for about 40min ride with other tourists. Just walk over there and several guys will be standing around at the end of the pier to hussle you.
